Bruner/Cott & Associates is pleased to announce the following exciting and well-deserved promotions:

Greg Russell, AIA, has been promoted to Associate Principal. Greg has been with the firm since 2004. Providing leadership on the design and construction of complex buildings on urban sites, he’s completed projects ranging from contemporary art schools and high-rise residential towers to historic preservation and re-use. Greg will continue to lead projects while heading up the firm’s mentoring program.

Shaun Dempsey, AIA, has been promoted to Associate. Shaun has 16 years of project experience with a focused interest in adaptive reuse, urban development, and sustainable practices. He looks forward to expanding his experience and influence in his new role in the office.

Lena Kozloski, AIA, has been promoted to Associate. Lena joined the firm in 2014 and contributed to Phase III of MASS MoCA. Currently she is working on the Smith Campus Center at Harvard, and a study for a new residence hall at MASS Maritime Academy.

Jeffrey Leclair, AIA, has been promoted to Associate. Jeff joined BCA in 2007, and has honed his project management skills on the Seegers Student Union at Muhlenberg College and the Boston University School of Law projects. Jeff is currently managing the renovation and addition at Harvard’s Lavietes Pavilion and is eager to continuing to explore all aspects of design at BCA.

Aoife Morris, AIA, LEEP AP, has been promoted to Associate. Since joining the office in 2001, Aoife has worked primarily with existing buildings and is motivated by the unique challenge of combining old and new. She is currently completing construction on Phase III of MASS MoCA and is excited to continue developing and sharing her knowledge of transformative re-use projects.

Vanessa Laub has been promoted to Designer. Vanessa started at BCA as a project coordinator, working full-time while completing her graduate degree at the Boston Architectural College. Vanessa will graduate in 2018 and looks forward to taking on more architectural responsibilities.

Alejandra Lopez has been promoted to Designer. Allie joined the firm in 2015 as the Architectural Office Assistant, working full-time while in school at the Boston Architectural College. Allie will graduate in 2018 and continues to bring her high-quality design skills to the firm’s work.

Meg Gatza has been promoted to Director of Operations. Since starting in administration in 2009, Meg has progressed and imprinted her evolving talents and critical responsibilities throughout the firm. In her new role, Meg will oversee the firm’s operational functions, from human resources and administrative oversight to project performance and business administration.

Sara Draper has been promoted to Sustainability and Engagement Strategist. Sara joined the firm in 2013 as a project coordinator, using her position to support both a range of projects and firm-wide sustainability initiatives. In her new role she will devote her time to advancing our sustainable and strategic practice goals.
