P. Greg Russell, AIA
For Greg, much of the power and pleasure of design lies in examining and revealing the hidden forces that shape places and how people experience them. In his 25 years in the field, Greg has explored ways to express these forces in a wide array of academic, residential, and commercial projects, including several LEED Gold and Platinum certified buildings. His recent work on Lesley University’s Lunder Art Center has received multiple design and sustainability awards.
Greg is passionate about mentoring the next generation of architects, guiding them in their own explorations of the power of design. He also shares his knowledge with fellow practitioners through presentations at various conferences, including the annual Architecture Boston Expo.
Born and raised outside of Richmond, Virginia, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters and working on their old Victorian home in Melrose. His interests also include reading and collecting architectural books and coaching basketball.
