Principal Jason Jewhurst will be a presenter at the 2018 Forum on Life cycle Approaches to Sustainably Manage
Materials in Building and Infrastructure Projects, hosted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). His session, “Sustainable Materials Success Stories,” will be exploring what drives decisions, what contributes to successful sustainable materials outcomes, challenges, and what resources or actions are needed to expand the adoption of these approaches.
Jason and co-presenter Pete Foernssler, Deputy Chief of Program Implementation at Illinois Tollway, will provide real-world insights about how life cycle thinking is being used to make more sustainable materials management decisions on projects, using the net-zero R.W. Kern Center at Hampshire College and the Illinois Tollway Project as specific examples.
