Bruner/Cott was engaged by MIT to prepare a master plan for the re-organization and expansion of the historic Endicott House located in Dedham, Massachusetts.

This complex, remote from the MIT campus, serves as a conference facility for the Institute, as well as a range of outside organizations and businesses.

The existing estate includes major landscaped grounds designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, and the historic mansion designed by Charles Platt. The study includes planning for several new structures on the site as well as significant renovations to the existing mansion and out-buildings.

Work included expanded guest rooms, new training and conference spaces, a business center, a fitness facility, a new student leadership development facility, re-vamped food and beverage production and serving spaces, a 200-seat dining room, expanded offices, outdoor recreation facilities, and restoration of the historic grounds.
