Our design for White Hall transformed the unattractive 1950’s basement-level cafeteria into a traditional New England collegiate dining hall and professional kitchen. The space is designed for multi-purpose uses including student and staff dining, conference room, commuters’ lounge, student government offices, and a hall for banquets, ceremonies, dances, and other events.
French doors from the Dining Hall’s new addition lead to an outdoor café for warm weather dining. The outdoor amphitheater was created to connect a sloped area between two buildings. Deep cut steps were built into the hill, to serve as a seating area for student gatherings and outdoor concerts.
