Dooney & Bourke is one of the largest retailers of high-end leather goods in the country. This 3,000 s.f. retail Madison Avenue store features five merchandise showrooms of finely crafted hardwoods. Mahogany shelving and wrought iron railings evoke the mood of a nineteenth century library. Birch bark detailing and exposed stud timber echo an Adirondack-style great room. A new limestone storefront frames newly detailed cast bronze and mahogany millwork to create an appealing entryway and storefront display. The highly detailed retail interior and storefront was designed to work within the existing landmark building’s facade, and in itself, has become a new landmark on New York’s fashionable Madison Avenue.
