Bruner/Cott designed the residential conversion of the end bay of Gridley F. Bryant’s McKinley Square warehouse, a building that once linked the Custom House to Long Wharf. The new facade treatment repairs and reinterprets the scar left when the building was truncated by the Central Artery in the early 1950s.

The building faces the future site of the Rose Kennedy Greenway, the sinuous landscaped parkland that will trace the Artery’s once blighted path. The 13 units feature private balconies and generous spans of glass to take full advantage of this beautiful public resource and the harbor views beyond.
